Hathaway Brown Hosting Creative Writing Contest For High School Students
Ninth through 12th graders from Northeast Ohio can compete in three writing categories: creative stories, poetry or persuasive essays

Hathaway Brown School is hosting its inaugural Inked Writing Competition for high school writers on May 11.
Writers from ninth through 12th graders from all around the region -- not just those who go to Hathaway Brown -- can compete in three writing categories: creative stories, poetry or persuasive essays.
Inked will have three 30-minute rounds of writing. The students' work will be evaluated by local writers.

The top five students in each cateogory will receive awards.
The contest was designed by Hathaway Brown sophomores Bridget Babcox and Brady Furlich as a way to give creative writing experience to seniors.

The $15 entry fee includes a t-shirt, a day of writing, helpful and thorough feedback, a pizza lunch, doughnuts, and chances for prizes.
