A Lyndhurst man was arrested and charged with felonious assault and other charges after a bad night that involved an ex-girlfriend, some property damage and drunken driving, according to Shaker Heights Police.
Ennis Johnson, 47, of Lyndhurst, faces charges of felonious assault, drunken driving and criminal damaging after police say he confronted his ex-girlfriend at her home on Hildana Road on Aug. 10.
The man reportedly broke windows and assaulted the ex-girlfriend before he left the home. The owner of the home then came by the house to board up the broken windows.
The ex-boyfriend returned, and police say he damaged the property owner's car by throwing bricks at it.
Police caught the man later that night when he was pulled over while driving. The officer determined he was intoxicated and placed him under arrest.
