Teenager jumped, robbed

A 16-year-old boy from Shaker Heights said he was walking in the neighborhood of the library on the evening of Feb. 20 when he was jumped.

He told Shaker Heights Police that about six men between the ages of 18 and 21 approached him from behind and started punching him. Then they took his black hooded Northface coat and his cell phone.

Vehicles stolen

A pair of vehicles were stolen last week in Shaker Heights.

On Feb. 21, a 1994 Chevrolet C-1500 truck was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 3000 block of Van Aken.

Then, on Feb. 26, a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am was taken from the 3000 block of Warrensville-Center Road.

Neither vehicle has been recovered yet.
