Vaccine Mandate Considered By Shaker Heights Schools
The mandate would apply to all staff. If approved, employees would need to start their vaccination process no later than Nov. 1.
SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The Shaker Heights Schools are considering a vaccine mandate for all employees.
According to the proposal, all staff would have to receive their first vaccinne by Nov. 1, though exceptions would be made for medical or religious reasons, according to News 5. However, staff that are not vaccinated would need to provide the district with a negative COVID-19 test every week.
A vote on the mandate will be held Oct. 12 during the next Board of Education meeting.
