The City of Stow and Cuyahoga Falls are collecting gifts for the children impacted by the catastrophic tornados this month in Kentucky.Β  Donations of new, unwrapped gifts including toys, books and electronics for children age’s birth to 18 years old should be dropped off to Stow City Hall (3760 Darrow Rd., Stow).

The building will be open special hours this weekend for this gift collection:Β  Saturday & Sunday (Dec. 18-19, 8am-8pm), Monday & Tuesday (Dec. 21, 8am-4:30pm).Β  Delivery of your donations would REALLY be appreciated by Tuesday morning so they may be included in the first truck run to Kentucky.Β  The gift drive will close on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 at 4:30pm.

Those who wish to make financial contributions can do so by visiting www.HelpSalvationArmy.org, by calling 800-SAL-ARMY and designating β€œKY Tornado Relief” with financial gifts, or by texting 52000 to donate $10 through cell phone bills.Β  The Salvation Army uses 100 percent of disaster donations to support relief efforts.

The mayors of both cities would like to thank TTR Shipping who volunteered a truck and driver to transport all of the gifts to Kentucky and ACME Fresh Market for packing materials.
