More than 2,000 customers of FirstEnergy in Stow lost power Wednesday, and Jessica Shreve Dickey captured the moment it happened.
Shreve Dickey photographed the puff of smoke that resulted after a power regulator at a substation near the intersection of Graham and Darrow roads failed Wednesday just before 11 a.m.
Chris Eck, spokesperson for FirstEnergy said the power was restored by 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
