An Internet fishing scheme nabbed some cash from a Stow man.
The Stow resident told Stow Police he received a telecommunication advising him that he had won $250,000. In order to claim his prize, he had to send a money gram in order to get the $250,000.

The man told police March 2 that he sent an undisclosed amount in order to get the "prize," but the award was never delivered to him.

Stow Police charged a man with disorderly conduct, a minor misdemeanor, after he allegedly spit at another man at Wal-Mart.
The man reportedly spit in a man's face inside the store, and police responded to serve him a summons on the disorderly conduct charge. The man became upset, so police escorted him to his car.
While on the walk out the man threatened to harm the officers' families. Police also charged him March 6 with criminal trespass, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
