Stow Rotary Plans Golf Ball Drop at Summer Sunset Blast
Fundraiser includes $1,000 grand prize

The Rotary Club of Stow-Munroe falls will hold its fourthΒ annual Golf Ball Drop on August 31 at Stowβs Summer Sunset Blast at Silver Springs Park.Β
Numbered golf balls will be dropped from a 100 foot crane at 8:00 p.m. The grand prize of $1000Β will be awarded to the ticket owner whose ball lands closest to the target. Β Second and third prizeΒ winners will receive $500 and $250 respectively.Β
Chances to win are available by purchasing one ball for $5 or five balls for $20.Β

Funds raised by the golf ball drop will support critically important community service projectsΒ in the Stow-Munroe Falls area. Β
βThis project has been very successful the last three years and has allowed our club toΒ continue its financial commitment to a number of community service projects,β said AnnieΒ Hanson, member of the golf ball drop committee. βWe are thrilled to be part of the SummerΒ Sunset Blast again this year and look forward to seeing everyone at the drop.β

The club meets weekly at Silver Lake CountryΒ Club on Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m.
