5 Police Department Facebook Pages You Should Like

Police departments are working harder to stay connected with the community and many use Facebook to do it.

The Strongsville Police department isn't on Facebook yet, but here are five awesome Facebook pages in neighboring towns.

1. The North Royalton Police department's Facebook page has nearly 800 followers.  They post mug shots of wanted criminals, share articles about crime prevention, lots of crime reports and they share it with a very pleasant personality.

2. Brunswick Police department's Facebook page has more than 3,500 followers and really does a fine job. They share mug shots of criminals, photos of lost pets, crime prevention and safety tips, and they are on top of the breaking news about the gasoline/ethanol mix up at a gas station in town.

3. The Medina Police department's Facebook page has 9,300 followers and is a very active page. Not only do they share crime news, road closures, mug shots of criminals and good news about their officers, but they also share Medina-area media stories about the police department and the city. It's not unusual to see several posts in a day.

4. With nearly 2,500 followers, the Bath Police department's Facebook page shares crime information, lost dog photos, traffic information as well as surveillance videos and photos.

5. With more than 1,300 followers, the Twinsburg Police department's Facebook page shares crime reports, scam warnings and other police related community information.
