• Strongsville to lease Pearl Road dispatch center to Chagrin Valley Dispatch for 1 year (cleveland.com) — Strongsville is leasing its Pearl Road Southwest Emergency Dispatch Center to Chagrin Valley Dispatch for one year starting Feb. 2, as part of a broader merger of dispatch services. Residents will still call the same dispatchers, but management shifts while a new regional center is built in Valley View. City officials say joining Chagrin Valley Dispatch will cut Strongsville’s annual dispatch costs by about $600,000 compared with running its own center.
