• Troy City Schools to reduce property tax millage rate (miamivalleytoday.com) — Property owners in Troy City Schools will see a 1.26-mill reduction in school-related property taxes for tax year 2025, saving the community over $1.6 million in 2026. After reviewing revenues with the Miami County Budget Commission, the Board of Education voted Dec. 8 to cut bond and bond retirement millage while pledging to maintain strong educational programs. 
• H.S. Results 12/10: Wayne wrestling takes pair of Wednesday wins (daytondailynews.com) — Troy High School’s boys and girls basketball teams both dropped close games to Greenville, while Troy Christian’s boys rolled past Covington 67-27. The roundup also includes scores for Tippecanoe, Piqua, Sidney, and other nearby schools, giving Miami County fans a quick look at how local teams fared this week.
