National Night Out To Be Celebrated By Westlake Police In October

The free, family-friendly event is intended to strengthen the bonds of community, officials said.

WESTLAKE, OH β€” Westlake police's National Night Out celebration will be held at Crocker Park on Oct. 5.

The annual event tries to build stronger communities using an interactive evening of free and fun activities, including K9 demonstrations, vendors, activities, meet and greets, appearances from the Westlake Fire Truck and Westlake ambulance, the bomb squad, live music and more.

This year's event will be spread throughout Market Square and Main Street at Crocker Park. Festivities start at 5 p.m. and continue through 8 p.m.

β€œOur partnership with the City of Westlake is an extremely important one, ensuring we are both looking to continue the growth of vibrant area communities,” said Stacie Schmidt, vice president of marketing for Stark Enterprises. β€œNational Night Out helps to connect the local law enforcement directly with their communities in a fun and immersive way, all for the growth of each neighborhood and the partnerships they create together.”
