Westlake Football Hires New Coach, Familiar Face
Westlake High's new interim football coach will be familiar to many who follow the program.
WESTLAKE, OH — Jason Hall will return as interim coach of the Westlake High Demons football team.
Hall will be the program's interim coach, the Westlake Schools announced. He will create a five-year plan for the program, with a goal of grooming coaches to eventually take over as lead coach.
“I’m excited to return to this position and make a difference in staff and player development for our football program," Hall said in a statement.

Hall has a career record of 107-84 during his 17 seasons. He coached Westlake from 2015-2017, but his career has also taken him to Brush, Nordonia, and Massillon.
Hall has racked up plenty of awards during his coaching days, including 2005 Plain Dealer Coach of the Year, the Cleveland Touchdown Club Coach of the Year, and State of Ohio Division I Co-Coach of the Year.

“Coach Hall will be a wonderful asset to the Westlake City Schools football program. His experience will guide our players and forge a new path as the program continues to grow,” said interim athletic director Mark McGuire.
Hall is currently a Health and Physical Education teacher for the Westlake City Schools.
