Westlake Police Ask for Help Identifying Credit Card Thieves
Thieves stole a woman's wallet at Crocker Park then went on a shopping spree, see surveillance photo of suspects from the Avon Target store.
The Westlake Police Department is asking for help identifying suspects involved in a pickpocketing and credit card fraud incident that occurred last weekend.
An Avon Lake woman, while at Bar Louie in Crocker Park had her wallet taken from her purse sometime between 5 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 11. The thieves then attempted to use her credit cards to go on a shopping spree.
Multiple attempts were made to use her debit card without success, however, the thieves were successful in purchasing $4,000 in gift cards from the Avon Target store according police reports.
