• Rollins College dean to lead academic affairs as provost at Wooster (the-daily-record.com) — Wooster residents will see new academic leadership at The College of Wooster as Rollins College dean Ashley Kistler becomes provost and chief academic officer on July 1. With deep experience in liberal arts and mentored research, she’ll succeed Lisa Perfetti and help guide academic planning, faculty hiring, and the college’s signature Independent Study program. 
• As 2025 comes to an end, look forward to these 2026 events (the-daily-record.com) — Wooster-area farmers can kick off 2026 with a free Farmer Listening Lunch at RES Auction Services on Fry Road, giving them direct access to officials and ag leaders. Additional January opportunities include the Ag-Pro Expo in Holmes County, a statewide Young Ag Professionals conference with sponsorships via the Wooster Farm Bureau office, and Farm Bureau scholarship applications opening January through March.
