Disability is a term that is used for people who may have a physical, mental, cognitive, or developmental condition that impairs, interferes with, or limits a person’s ability to engage in certain tasks or actions or participate in typical daily activities and interactions.
There are many types of disabilities. Below is a list of some challenges one may experience.

The four types of disabilities as defined by the “Education Resource Information Center” are visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive. But as the United States has progressed in its research, they are many more disabilities that that are defined as invisible disabilities (disabilities that are not immediately apparent).
Every disabled person is entitled to equality and human dignity and have rights to advocacy and accessibility. Below are some resources for anyone who needs more information on services and definitions of disabilities.
