  1. The Oklahoma City Fire Department is investigating after two house fires erupted in the same neighborhood. Both fires occurred early Monday morning near Indiana Avenue, and officials said they have reason to believe that the fires were related. Authorities have not said how the fires started or how much damage was done to the homes. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
  2. A procedure at Oklahoma University's Children's Hospital has stopped an 11-year-old boy's severe seizures. Neurosurgeon Dr. Virendra Desai performed the surgery on Landon Klupenger, who has epilepsy and has dealt with a range of medical issues since he was four years old. Since the procedure was performed four months ago, Klupenger has not had a single seizure. (News On 6)
  3. A cheerleader from the University of Oklahoma was killed in a crash along the border between Oklahoma and Kansas on Sunday morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that 20-year-old Britney Marie Turley's truck veered off the road and struck a concrete barrier near Coldwater. The driver was rushed to Comanche County Hospital where she later passed away. Turley's sister was also in the truck but is expected to recover. (news9.com KWTV)
