Oklahoma City police urgently search for suspect in OKC Sonic attack (koco.com) — Oklahoma City police are still searching for a man who repeatedly stabbed a woman in her car at the Sonic near Santa Fe and NE 23rd, leaving her critically injured. Investigators released surveillance video and photos of the suspect in a multicolored striped hoodie and beanie, and are urging anyone who was in the area late Tuesday night to contact police.
   

2. From crisis to model: Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office regains full accreditation (news9.com) — Oklahoma City’s state medical examiner’s office has finally regained full national accreditation after years of staffing shortages, crumbling facilities, and a massive case backlog. Now housed in a modern Oklahoma City building with advanced technology and more doctors, the agency says it’s become a model for the country and a stronger partner for local law enforcement and families seeking answers.
   

3. Oklahoma City artist behind viral OU laser light show at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium (koco.com) — An Oklahoma City native is behind the viral laser light show that lit up OU’s recent playoff game in Norman, showcasing the work of his OKC-based company, LaserWolffX. Hunter Owen and his team spent nights inside Gaylord Family–Oklahoma Memorial Stadium crafting one of the state’s biggest laser productions, and he says creating this kind of spectacle close to home means the most.
   

4. President Trump's executive order on marijuana's classification could bring changes to Oklahoma (koco.com) — A new executive order from President Trump to reschedule marijuana could make banking and basic services easier for Oklahoma City dispensaries like Likewise Cannabis, though state rules still control how they operate. Local owner Corbin Wyatt expects prices to stay steady because of Oklahoma’s ongoing license moratorium, while officials await more details as the federal process unfolds through 2026.

Oklahoma Lottery Powerball, Lotto America results for Dec. 22, 2025 (oklahoman.com) — Oklahoma lottery players can now check the winning numbers from the Dec. 22 Powerball, Lotto America, Pick 3, Lucky for Life, and Cash 5 drawings, and see if they’ve hit a prize. Winners can claim by mail through the Oklahoma Lottery’s Oklahoma City P.O. Box, with instructions for including a signed ticket, claim form, and optional direct-deposit details.
