Here are the top stories today in Oklahoma City:

  1. The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office is investigating after almost 600 Amazon packages were found dumped in the area of 206th Street and Harrah Road. Investigators say someone removed the items they wanted from the shipment and discarded the remaining packages. Officials are working with the USPS and have reached out to Amazon to begin contacting the victims of the theft. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  2. Millwood Public Schools closed Monday due to complications caused by the temperature drop last weekend. District officials said they needed the day to make building repairs. The nature and extent of the damages being repaired are unknown at this time. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
  3. Oklahoma Children's Hospital announced that it was celebrating its first birth of 2022. Baby Nayeli was born at 7 a.m. on Jan. 1 and was the hospital's first newborn of the new year. Hospital officials shared a picture of Nayeli on social media. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
