- Americans have been faced with grief more in the last year than in previous years. To help support mental health in relation to grief, Oklahoma City's Calm Waters is helping people for free with a workshop called Coping with Grief during the Holidays. The workshop is happening on November 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is available for children and adults. (KOKH FOX25)
- During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people adopted animals as companions. Now, many of those pets are being abandoned at shelters. Officials at Oklahoma City Animal Welfare ask for people to come help with the rising number of animals up for adoption. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
- Mid-Del Public Schools is offering a free COVID-19 drive-thru testing center with PCR testing provided. (kfor.com)
