- Oklahoma City Animal Welfare is offering a new promotion to help with overcrowding. The shelter has implemented a new 'Name Your Price' adoption rate in order to help abandoned animals find homes for the holidays. Organizers say they will accept anything over $1 for pet adoptions. They are also encouraging animal lovers who are unable to adopt a pet to foster instead. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
- State authorities have filed charges against three students from Edmond Memorial High School who are accused of making threats to the school and individuals. The students were removed from campus after school officials uncovered a concerning text message indicating a threat against the high school. Edmond Public Schools officials sent a letter to parents addressing the matter and reassured them that such incidents are "not considered lightly."(KOCO Oklahoma City)
- The Oklahoma City Police Department is seeking help from the public in locating a man who burglarized a church in October. The suspect is accused of stealing computers and other technological equipment from the local church. On Friday, Investigators released an image from surveillance footage captured during the crime. They are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to contact CrimeStoppers. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
