- Freihofer Casting is seeking extras for a major studio film set in Oklahoma City. They need rodeo fans, including those with vintage 1980s attire. Extras will be paid $10/hour with additional bonuses for vehicle use and specific scenes. Filming will take place from Jul. 10 to 14. (KOKH FOX25)
- A man was arrested in Oklahoma City's Boathouse District after he entered the area with a device strapped to his body and weapons. Upon his arrival at Riversport, he made threats of self-destruction, prompting the immediate involvement of the police. After an hour-long negotiation, officers successfully convinced the man to surrender without incident. No explosives were discovered on the individual or in the vicinity, and everyone was safely evacuated from the area during the incident. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
- Tragically, an individual drowned in Lake Stanley Draper in Oklahoma City on Saturday. The Oklahoma City Police Department responded and recovered the unresponsive person from the water. Despite efforts, the individual was unable to be revived and was pronounced deceased upon arrival at the hospital. (KOKH FOX25)
- Oklahoma City fire crews successfully extinguished a commercial fire downtown near West California and South Lee avenues. The Oklahoma City Fire Department responded promptly, and the flames were brought under control. No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
