OKCPS middle school unveils long awaited improvements thanks to voters (kfor.com) — Voter-approved bond money is transforming John Marshall Enterprise Middle School in Oklahoma City, with a new secure entrance, updated administration suite, and a student-designed library space featuring study rooms, 3D printers, and an Esports area. OKCPS leaders say the upgrades boost safety and give middle schoolers a learning environment that feels more like college. 
2. Oklahoma City Is Building A Soccer Venue (sportstalkflorida.com) — Oklahoma City is moving ahead with a $121 million, 10,000-seat soccer-specific stadium that will anchor a larger stadium-village and bring a USL franchise in 2028. City leaders are using special tax mechanisms and bond funding, drawing both support and criticism as residents weigh the benefits of sports-driven development alongside a separate $1 billion basketball arena plan.
3. An emergency hearing at the Oklahoma County Courthouse was delayed and is now set for December 18, as providers push to temporarily restore previous subsidy levels.

Parents recall terror, relief after 33 children, 5 staff escape Yukon day care fire caused by crash (koco.com) — Parents are still processing the terror and relief after a car crashed into La Petite day care in Yukon, near Oklahoma City, sparking a fire that 33 children and five staff escaped safely. The center is closed indefinitely, but nearby Step into Learning is waiving December fees to help displaced families while La Petite and local providers coordinate temporary childcare options.
