Here are the top stories today in Oklahoma City:

  1. Authorities are investigating after a fire started at an auto repair shop on Thursday morning in west Oklahoma City. The fire was found around 2:40 a.m. in the bay area of a shop near Reno and May avenues and was knocked down around 2:55 a.m. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
  2. Two people have been arrested following a fatal shooting on the city’s northwest side on Wednesday afternoon. Oklahoma City police were anonymously called to Northwest 10th St. and Indiana Ave. at around 2 p.m. where they found 43-year-old Darnell Jones dead from gunshot wounds. Simon Tiscareno and Aquarius Easter were both arrested on complaints of first-degree murder and accessory to murder and were booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  3. Autism in Motion Clinics is hosting a sensory-safe, socially distanced trick-or-treating event for the community and families are invited to attend. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
  4. An Oklahoma City firefighter, Corporal Jerimiah Hoffstatter, was fired after he refused to get tested for COVID-19. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  5. Oklahoma City has seen the 18th largest increase in six-figure jobs in the country over a five year period. (news9.com KWTV)
