The tutoring program is intended to help 8th graders bridge the gap from middle to high school math. The tutors include certified teachers and college students from all regions of Oklahoma. Officials say the suspect knocked on the victim's door at his home near Northwest 10th Street and MacArthur Boulevard late Sunday evening, then shot the man when he opened the door.
