Here are the top stories today in Oklahoma City:
- The Oklahoma City Police Department is experiencing intermittent issues with the 911 line. If anyone needs to contact 911 but is unable to get through, they are asked to use the non-emergency number at (405) 231-2121. Police did not say what caused the issue or how long the issue might last. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
- A 34-year-old Oklahoma man, Ronald Bledsoe, has been charged with murder for a 2015 shooting that left a child paralyzed. On June 12, 2015, officials say a 12-year-old boy was shot while he was riding his bicycle in a parking lot near S.W. 59th and Agnew. After being shot, the victim became quadriplegic. He died from his injuries six years after the shooting on April 29, 2021. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
- EMBARK will be hosting a free health fair at the Downtown Transit Center on Tuesday, where the Oklahoma City-County Health Department will offer all three COVID vaccines, along with free information regarding Neighborhood Services Dental Clinics, EMBARK Special Services, Metro Tech, Oak Street Health, and the Salvation Army. - Students at Metro Technology Center will be hosting a family-friendly "trunk or treat" event on Friday in the parking lot of the Springlake Campus at 1800 Springlake Dr. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
- Oklahoma City Police arrested a man who was accused of robbing Along Came Mary Dispensary, a dispensary near Britton Rd. and May Ave., over the weekend. (news9.com KWTV)
