OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is tomorrow, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Join the OKCPHIL on July 3 at Scissortail Park for a musical celebration of Independence Day. Led by Maestro Alexander Mickelthwate, the 60-minute concert will offer a variety of music, including "America the Beautiful," "Climb Every Mountain," music from "Star Wars," and much more. The concert will be followed by fireworks. Paid and free parking are available near the park. Attendees can bring a picnic or patronize the food trucks.
