  1. The Chickasaw Nation unveiled plans for a $300 million resort-style development along the Oklahoma River near the First Americans Museum. The resort hotel will feature an 11-story, 404-room hotel and a five-acre outdoor adventure lagoon is also in the works. This development will bring a lot of jobs to the community and a lot of tourism. The resort should be completed in 2024. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  2. The Art Awakening event in Oklahoma City this week will support the NorthCare mental health clinic. From acrylics to watercolors to glassware, art will be available for purchase at the event and proceeds will be donated to the clinic designed to help children and families recover from mental illness, substance abuse, trauma, or crisis. The event will be held Thursday, Oct. 21, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
  3. An Oklahoma Appeals Court reversed a double-murder conviction on Thursday. (U.S. News & World Report)
  4. Oklahoma City Police need help looking for missing 18-year-old Taylor Mosely-Matthews last seen on Oct. 19. (KOKH FOX25)
  5. The Free Food Pantry in Oklahoma City asks for help and donations. (News On 6)
