Here are the top three stories today in Oklahoma City:
- The Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City will officially host its third annual Expungement Expo at the Metro Technology Center on Saturday, Jun. 24. The expo is hoping to provide roughly 1,000 individuals with a clean slate and feature nearly 25 volunteer attorneys who will be available to file petitions for expungement. Typically, a process like this can cost upwards of $5,000 and take six months to complete, but all of the services at this event are completely free for attendees. (City Sentinel)
- On Wednesday, Jun. 14, five individuals were injured in an accident involving a semitrailer that had been jackknifed. The crash took place in northeast Oklahoma near 36th Street and Sooner Road during the early morning hours. According to law enforcement, two adults and three children were taken to the hospital, but the severity of their injuries has not yet been confirmed. (KOCO)
- The Taco Bell Foundation presented the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County with a $35,000 grant at the beginning of June. The grant went toward the addition of more youth education programs and career readiness opportunities. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County was just one of the over 450 youth-based organizations to receive funding from the Taco Bell Foundation this year. (KFOR)

Today in Oklahoma City:
From my notebook:
- According to a recent report from Construction Coverage, Oklahoma City has a 9.4 percent rental vacancy rate, which is the 15th highest in the United States. When rates are higher like this, it shows that there are an abundant amount of rental properties available throughout the city and typically puts a decreasing trend on rent prices. (City Sentinel)
- The Oklahoma City Zoo is currently hiring attendants, tram drivers, and zipline operators for its Guest Experience team. If you're interested in flexible hours and competitive pay, visit here to apply. (Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden via Facebook)
- Juneteenth On The East officially kicks off tonight, Jun. 15 with a Black Creativity Panel at Skydance Brewing Co. The next four days are filled with a variety of celebrations that focus on coming together and commemorating African American culture. You can find further details here! (Visit OKC via Facebook)
