  2. Later last week, popular actor Sean Gunn made his return to Oklahoma City to film a few scenes for his upcoming music drama, "Defiant Vanity." The film is written and directed by OKC filmmaker Benjamin Tefera and marks the second movie that the actor, who is best known for his roles in Marvel Studios' "Guardians of the Galaxy" and Emmy-winning series "Gilmore Girls," is bringing to the city. Previously, Gunn filmed scenes for Mickey Reece's 2021 horror movie "Agnes" at the karaoke bar Cookies on Western. (Oklahoman)
  3. A new screen-printing company in Oklahoma City is partnering with the Homeless Alliance to help curb homelessness around the city. As a part of their new program, Curbside Chronicles will be providing certain individuals with new job skills that can help them transition out of homelessness. According to Homeless Alliance's longtime executive director Dan Straughan, he's excited to be working with another social enterprise to continue its mission of using different business practices to help spark change in the community.
