1. A man is accused of trying to shoot a security guard Saturday at a Walmart in Belle Isle. 43-year-old Chartez Chappell pulled out a gun after the officer attempted to take the suspect into custody for shoplifting, police say. No one was hit by gunfire during the incident. (news9.com KWTV)
2. The Village Police Department has arrested three people following a drug raid in the metro neighborhood early Monday morning. The suspects were charged with trafficking controlled dangerous substances within 2,000 feet of a school, according to Deputy Police Chief Russ Landon. (kfor.com)
