  1. The National Weather Service confirmed the presence of an EF1 tornado Wednesday morning. Officials say the tornado began in northeast Norman and ended in southeast Oklahoma City, producing damage consistent with 90 mile-per-hour winds. With this week's storms, the state has seen the highest total of October tornadoes since records began in 1895. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  2. The Oklahoma City Zoo has begun administering animal-approved COVID-19 vaccines to select species. The zoo has already vaccinated 40 animals, including lions, gorillas, and otters.
