- This Machine, Tulsa's only bike-sharing program, announced plans to bring dozens more bikes to the city by summer. The expansion plans include the addition of a new bike station at Osage Prairie Trail and Pine Street, as well as a new presence in Broken Arrow. The nonprofit group says the additional stations are intended to help alleviate the city's growing need for transportation options. (News On 6)
- After purging its waitlist earlier this week, the Tulsa Housing Authority announced it would start accepting new applications yesterday. A representative from THA says the purge was done to ensure Tulsans with immediate housing needs made it to the front of the line, which before the purge, included applications dating back up to three years. Families in need of affordable housing can now reapply at tulsahousing.org. (News On 6)
- Tulsa Community Technical College hosted a 3D chalk and paint event on Friday to spotlight the importance of accessible expression. Artist and Oklahoma native Jan Riggin spearheaded the event, guiding participants through an activity where they created 3D images on their hands using face paint. Riggin's 3D chalk artwork is available for the public to view in the third-floor courtyard of the Center for Creativity. (KRMG)
