TPD reflects on 2025: fewer crimes, but struggles with staffing and community engagement (ktul.com) — Tulsa police report that serious crimes have fallen over the past two years, but the department remains more than 100 officers understaffed heading into 2026. With 47 homicides and a 94% solve rate this year, TPD is urging residents to share tips, check unsolved cases, and request extra patrols where they see ongoing problems.

3. Authorities urge caution as man wanted after chase flees on foot (ktul.com) — Residents in southern Tulsa County, especially around Jenks and Glenpool, are being urged to stay alert as police search for a theft suspect who fled on foot after a dangerous vehicle pursuit and multiple crashes. Authorities describe a heavy law enforcement presence near 121st and Elm and warn people not to approach the man, but to call 911 with any sightings or tips.

4. Gold coins valued over $35K anonymously donated to Salvation Army Red Kettle (fox23.com) — An anonymous donor dropped more than $35,000 in gold coins into a Salvation Army Red Kettle at Tulsa Gold & Silver, helping trigger a full $50,000 match from the business.
