Free medical clinic in Tulsa offers care to uninsured and underinsured patients (fox23.com) — A long-running free medical clinic at the Islamic Center of Tulsa offers walk-in care every Sunday from 1–4 p.m. near 51st and Sheridan, no insurance required. Volunteer doctors from multiple specialties provide screenings and treatment for common illnesses, aiming to support uninsured and underinsured Tulsans who might otherwise skip essential care.
   

2. Tulsa to invest $500k for sidewalk project enhancing safety on South Mingo Road (ktul.com) — Tulsa is investing $500,000 to finally fill a key sidewalk gap along South Mingo Road, improving safety between 81st and 91st Streets and connecting to the Mingo Trail. Funded through the Improve Our Tulsa sales tax, the project especially benefits residents with disabilities who currently must navigate in the street where sidewalks are missing or broken.
   

3. William K. Warren Foundation (insidephilanthropy.com) — A major Tulsa-based foundation is pouring millions into local health care, research, and community projects, including St. Francis Health System and multiple Tulsa nonprofits. The William K. Warren Foundation also backs mental health research at the University of Tulsa, Catholic schools and charities, and even local amenities like Tulsa Tough and tree planting, with applications accepted year-round by mail.
   

4. "Sky Zone Takeover" social media trend sparks police response at Tulsa trampoline park (fox23.com) — Tulsa police responded to a large teen crowd at the Sky Zone trampoline park near 61st and Memorial after a TikTok-fueled “Sky Zone Takeover” led to an altercation and citation. Officers already on off-duty security duty managed the rush of about 140 juveniles, while Sky Zone and TPD say they’re tightening safety efforts as kids remain out on Christmas break.
   

5. Arkansas regulator asks Tulsa permit challenge be thrown out (journalrecord.com) — Tulsa is pushing back against an Arkansas wastewater permit for the city of Decatur, arguing it violates state pollution rules and a 2003 federal settlement over nutrient pollution. Arkansas regulators now want Tulsa’s appeal tossed, claiming the city’s Tulsa-based attorneys aren’t licensed in Arkansas and that the state commission lacks jurisdiction over the settlement issues.
