City Hall, Municipal Court and other City facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency numbers: water – (918) 596-9488, and sewer – (918) 586-6999.Â

Refuse, recycling, yard waste and bulky waste all will be collected on Monday according to the regular schedule.
The City of Tulsa mulch site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17. It will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 18, to resume its normal schedule: Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday noon to 5 p.m., and closed City holidays.

The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter, 3031 N. Erie Ave., will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17, and will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday, Jan. 18. The regular operation hours for the animal shelter are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Appointments are required for adoption and intake; call (918) 596-8000.
Tulsa Parks recreation centers all will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17, including Oxley Nature Center’s Interpretive Center. Redbud Valley Nature Preserve remains closed until spring 2022. The Oxley Nature Center trails will be open. Mohawk Park Golf Course and Page Belcher Golf Course, as well as the Tulsa Zoo, will be open on Monday.
Tulsa Transit will operate at a Saturday level of service on Monday, Jan. 17.
