Oklahoma Turnpike Authority says over-height semi damages six bridges (ktul.com) — Drivers using the Will Rogers Turnpike near Tulsa are facing closures after an illegally over-height semi struck six bridges in Rogers County, causing damage expected to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Officials say over-height trucks have repeatedly hit Oklahoma turnpike bridges, and they’re urging trucking companies to double-check permits and load heights while the state slowly works toward building higher bridges.
