Tulsa County warns of phone scam targeting defendants with false GPS supervision fees (ktul.com) — Tulsa County Court Services is warning local defendants and families about scammers posing as court and law enforcement officials and demanding $1,000 over the phone for fake GPS supervision fees. 3. Tulsa robotics team tapped to represent Oklahoma at Governor's Cup (journalrecord.com) — A Tulsa-based student robotics team, Leviathan Robotics from Tulsa Robotics Center, has been chosen by Gov. Kevin Stitt to represent Oklahoma at the first-ever Governor’s Cup in Washington, D.C. this February. Before they go, the center will host a local send-off and open house so Tulsa residents can meet the team and see their STEM work up close.

'THANKFUL': Former Edison drama student flies teacher to NYC to see her play (kjrh.com) — A Tulsa-born playwright and Edison High graduate is taking a deeply personal play from Tulsa community theater all the way to the New York Theatre Festival — and she’s flying her former drama teacher out to see it. The story highlights how Tulsa’s theater scene and public schools helped launch her career and keep her connected to home.
