Tulsa elementary school creates food pantry to help families in need (kjrh.com) — A Tulsa teacher at Skelly Elementary has launched a campus food pantry to help families struggling to keep kids fed, especially after SNAP benefits were disrupted during the federal shutdown. Serving a student body that’s 97% economically disadvantaged, the pantry has already supported 25 families and is seeking more donations, particularly shelf-stable staples, as the holidays approach.
   

2. 32nd Annual Tulsa Farm Show is Set for December 11–13at Expo Square's SageNet Center (oklahomafarmreport.com) — Tulsa’s SageNet Center at Expo Square will host the 32nd Annual Tulsa Farm Show December 11–13, bringing hundreds of ag exhibitors, free admission, and big equipment displays under one roof. Farmers, ranchers, and curious locals can catch horsemanship demos, live music, cattle chute demonstrations, and daily prize drawings, including Showbucks and a Kubota mower package.
   

3. Gogel to design Master Plan for Tulsa County courses LaFortune Park, South Lakes (golfoklahoma.org) — Tulsa County has hired architect Mike Gogel to create a master plan for major upgrades at LaFortune Park Golf Course in Tulsa and South Lakes in Jenks, with construction expected to begin in late 2026. The work will focus on rebuilding bunkers, fixing drainage and irrigation, and making the courses more playable and affordable to maintain for local golfers.
   

4. Tulsa awarded $90,000 grant to create Oklahoma's first musical road on historic Route 66 (ktul.com) — Tulsa has secured a $90,000 state grant to build Oklahoma’s first musical road along Route 66 on Southwest Boulevard Bridge, parallel to the historic Cyrus Avery Memorial Bridge. Planned for March 2026, the project will play a song by an Oklahoma musician and aims to boost Tulsa’s role as a key Route 66 destination ahead of the highway’s centennial.
   

5. BIKE LANES: West Tulsa neighbors discuss bike lanes near Red Fork Depot (kjrh.com) — Neighbors in West Tulsa are debating new bike lanes on Southwest Boulevard near the Red Fork Depot, prompting Councilor Anthony Archie to hold a public meeting.
