Starting as early as fall 2026 with about 15 students, the mostly online program is designed to be affordable and accessible for working Tulsans once final accreditation approval comes through.

2. New bike lanes in west Tulsa spark safety concerns among residents (fox23.com) — New bike lanes along Southwest Boulevard in west Tulsa are drawing safety complaints from residents worried about debris, drivers misusing the lanes, and confusing traffic patterns. City Councilor Anthony Archie and officials plan enforcement and signal, signage, and turning-lane improvements as Tulsa prepares for a major Route 66 centennial tourism surge next year.

3. As 2025 concludes, Tulsa Housing Authority still without audits for 2021-2024 (nondoc.com) — Tulsa’s public housing system is heading into 2026 without required financial audits for 2021–2024, raising concerns among city councilors, state housing officials and the mayor’s office about oversight of public dollars. The Tulsa Housing Authority board offered almost no public explanation at its final 2025 meeting, even as a key north Tulsa development and future board appointments hang in the balance. Board chair Rick Neal also announced his upcoming retirement.

4. 'The Hilltop' to hold 106 units, 20 for Tulsans exiting homelessness (kjrh.com) — A new $36 million housing complex called The Hilltop is breaking ground off MLK Jr. Boulevard, adding 106 units in Tulsa, including 20 reserved for adults exiting homelessness. Funded through federal tax credits, county assistance, and philanthropy, the project replaces the blighted Sunset Plaza and sits near schools and a library, with officials eyeing similar developments across north Tulsa.

5. Headlines: Closed primaries, Ryan Walter lawsuit & Curbside Chronicle wrapping paper (kosu.org) — A statewide news roundup includes several Tulsa-focused stories, from the city approving over $26 million for a wrongfully convicted man to a new cellphone ban in Tulsa schools and construction zones. Other headlines touch on insurance premiums, lawsuits involving state officials, and major Oklahoma infrastructure and education developments that still affect Tulsa residents.
