TSW Tulsa Hires Planner and Urban Designer Jamie Pierson
TSW Tulsa has hired Planner and Urban Designer Jamie Pierson and relocated its office to 110 S. Hartford Ave. in downtown Tulsa.

TSW, an architecture, planning and landscape architecture firm with offices in Tulsa, OK, Atlanta, GA and Chattanooga, TN has hired Planner and Urban Designer Jamie Pierson to work in the Tulsa office, according to Katy O’Meilia, TSW senior associate and director of TSW Tulsa. The firm has also moved its Tulsa office to 110 S. Hartford Ave. in downtown Tulsa.
“We are excited to add Jamie to our team,” said O’Meilia. “Jamie is well-known in the Tulsa community for her community work in both urban planning and art installation. She worked with the Phoenix Development Council to launch EAT36STN, a food truck park in North Tulsa’s Phoenix District, and co-founded Transform Tulsa, which advocates for the removal of the northern leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop. She also serves on the leadership team of TYPROS, Tulsa’s Young Professionals, as the Urbanist Crew Leader. The organization advocates for a built environment that creates a more equitable city by providing the tools to shape Tulsa’s urban future. She brings knowledge, hands-on experience and passion for urban design to our Tulsa team.”
Pierson graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Masters of Science Degree in Architectural Urban Studies and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Arts Management with a Business minor. She recently received a grant to create a mural honoring the educational work of Bruce Goff, founder of the American School of Architecture at Oklahoma University.
