Dutch Bros Donates $3,700 To Tillamook Students

When it opened its newest location in Tillamook, Dutch Bros donated the day's proceeds to the Tillamook School District's students in-need.

TILLAMOOK, OR — Dutch Bros Coffee introduced itself to Tillamook residents last week when it opened its newest Dutch Bros location at 2150 N. Main Ave. And, in true Dutch Bros fashion, the Grants Pass-based business also showed the Tillamook community that it can do more than simply make tasty beverages.

During its grand opening July 11, Dutch Bros Tillamook sold 16-ounce drinks for just $1 all day. Afterward, Dutch Bros took all the proceeds from the day's sales — more than $3,700 — and donated it entirely to the Tillamook School District's Needy Kids Fund, which helps supply clothing, shoes, school supplies and food to low income and homeless students in the Tillamook area.

“We’re so grateful for the community’s support of both Dutch Bros and our local students,” Dutch Bros Tillamook owner Jared Nunnemaker said in a statement. “We look forward to continuing to serve the community amazing drinks, while giving back to those who have already been so good to us.”
