In-N-Out In Salem May Not Be Out Of The Question

In-N-Out hoax has a (sort of) happy ending.

SALEM, OR — In-N-Out in Salem? Maybe, according to the popular hamburger franchise's Vice President of Operations, Denny Warnick.

Following some stir over a sign placed on a Salem building purportedly promising a new In-N-Out in Salem by June 2018 (which turned out to be a hoax), The Statesman Journal asked Warnick what plans the company has for actually bringing its third restaurant to the Beaver State.

"We have looked at and evaluated a few sites in Salem and the surrounding area, but we are still in the very early stages of development and are not yet ready to move forward with a particular location," Warnick told The Statesman Journal. "We do believe that the Salem area is a great community and we do hope to be there in the future, but, at this time, it is far too early to comment on a specific location or any kind of timeline."

In-N-Out Burger previously opened locations in Medford and Grants Pass. A location in Salem would be the company's furthest north restaurant in the U.S. The California-based franchise also has restaurants in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Texas.
