Students at Touchstone Preschools in Beaverton and Tigard Donate Nearly 100 Pairs of Pajamas to Local Nonprofit
Students donated pajamas to Northwest Children's Outreach in Lake Oswego
PORTLAND, Ore. (Jan. 27, 2017) – Students at Touchstone Preschools in Beaverton and Tigard recently partnered to collect nearly 100 pairs of pajamas to benefit local children in need. The items were collected as part of their school-wide pajama drives and were donated to Northwest Children’s Outreach in Lake Oswego. In celebration of the drive, some students wore pajamas to school to participate in their “bring a pair, wear a pair” effort. Through the drive, students learned the importance of giving back to their community.
Northwest Children’s Outreach is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families in the Portland area and surrounding communities. The organization helps fill the needs of these families, providing clothing, infant care products, diapers, formula and many of the other necessities parents need for their children.
