Gresham Walmart Murder Leads To Arrest; Victim Identified

GRESHAM, OR – An arrest is made in the murder Monday night at the Walmart parking lot by West Powell and SE 182nd Avenue. Gresham Police identified the victim as 38 year old Dashawn Hudson of Portland.

Police had responded to a call of shots fired at the parking lot around 6:15 on Monday evening..

There they found Hudson who was dead.

Early Wednesday morning, they arrested Daniel Hipshman, 26, of Portland. He's charged with murder and unlawful use of a weapon. Hudson is being held at the Multnomah County Detention center.
