• Car crashes into Gresham apartment complex, displacing family (kptv.com) — An early-morning two-car crash sent one vehicle into a Gresham apartment at Suite Briar near NE Glisan and 172nd, leaving a local family suddenly without a home. No residents were hurt, though one driver went to the hospital, and the tenant says it’s the second time a car has hit her unit in recent years. 
• Red Cross urges blood donations as holiday travel, winter weather disrupt supply (oregonlive.com) — If you’re in Gresham and able to donate blood, the Red Cross is hosting a drive at the Gresham National Guard Armory on December 24 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The agency says holiday travel and winter storms are straining supplies, and donors of all types—especially O, A-negative and B-negative—can help keep hospitals stocked into the new year.
