18 Businesses Pass Liquor Sting In Forest Grove
For the second time in 6 months, Forest Grove's businesses have received 100 percent compliance during an OLCC decoy operation in the city.

FOREST GROVE, OR — Nearly 20 businesses in Forest Grove last week helped the city reach 100 percent compliance during an Oregon Liquor Control Commission-led undercover minor decoy operation to test whether local businesses would sell liquor to minors.
The May 24 mission was reportedly part of an "on-going collaborative effort to enforce laws related to the unlawful furnishing of alcohol to minors and to discourage underage drinking," according to Forest Grove police Capt. Mike Hall.
Previously a rare occurrence, obtaining 100 percent compliance appears to be the current standard for Forest Grove.

A check of 26 businesses in November returned a 100 percent compliance rate as well.
"It is rare to have a 100 percent compliance rate," Hall told Patch in an email last November. "I have no recollection of hearing of such a successful operation conducted by our department."
