Pacific University Footballers Assault Weed Dealer, Get Arrested
Jeremy McGoldrick and Christopher Goosby allegedly assaulted the same person twice Saturday in Cornelius.

CORNELIUS, OR — Washington County deputies on Saturday arrested two Pacific University football players who allegedly assaulted a pot dealer twice at his home in Cornelius.
Christopher Paul Goosby, 18, and Jeremy Ryan McGoldrick, 19, were both taken to Washington County Jail on charges of robbery, riot, and harassment. Their charges were later reduced by the Washington County District Attorney's office to one count each of disorderly conduct. Their bail has been set at $262,500 apiece.
Deputies serving the city of Cornelius were dispatched to a home in the 2800-block of North Davis Court, a few blocks north of Cornelius 10 Cinemas, just after 5 p.m. March 17.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, told investigators Goosby and McGoldrick had come to his home to buy cannabis, but for unexplained reasons also assaulted him before leaving. Deputies reportedly took the man's statement and left.
Roughly 45 minutes later deputies were called back to the same house after someone reported 15 people were fighting in the street, sheriff's officials said. Apparently, Goosby and McGoldrick recruited several of their university football teammates and returned to the 18-year-old.

Goosby was specifically identified as the antagonist in the second assault, though McGoldrick reportedly joined him in another threat to bring even more people back a third time.
Both men and their entourage fled before police arrived.
Enlisting the help of Forest Grove police officers and Pacific University security staff, Washington County deputies located Goosby and McGoldrick in a campus dorm room and arrested the pair without incident, officials said.
