• La Grande URA approves loan forgiveness for local business (lagrandeobserver.com) — La Grande’s Urban Renewal Agency, which is also the city council, has forgiven the remaining balance of a small business assistance loan for Community Merchants on Adams Avenue. After determining the shop met most of the program’s criteria despite staffing changes, members agreed the move aligns with their goal of supporting resilient local businesses and noted this was the last of only three such loans issued. 
• Births: Dec. 10, 2025 (lagrandeobserver.com) — A La Grande family welcomed a new baby boy at Grande Ronde Hospital on Dec. 3, joining a list of recent births across Northeastern Oregon. The announcement highlights Dakota Rhea Martin and Troy O’Neal Williams II of La Grande, who named their son Troy O’Neal Williams III.
