Lake Oswego High School 'Threat Incident' Forces Long Lockdown
Lake Oswego High School and Junior High were in various stages of lockdown Thursday afternoon as a "threat incident" was investigated.

LAKE OSWEGO, OR —Police were at Lake Oswego High School and Junior High School Thursday afternoon as they investigate a "threat incident." Officials stressed that there was no "active threat" at either school.
Police have not said where the incident is related to the TikTok violence threat causing problems at schools around the counry.
Police responded around 1 p.m. to the schools, resulting in both being placed in lockdown. No one was allowed to come or go from the buildings.

Much of the search focused on the high school.
By around 1:40 p.m., the junior high school was allowed to resume normal activity.

Parents and others were urged to stay away until the all-clear was given. That came after more than two hours.
